Express Yourself

Isaiah 38:2 (KJV):  “Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord.”

When the prophet Isaiah proclaimed unto Hezekiah that his life was soon to end, Hezekiah  did not accept what seemed to be the inevitable.  He ignored the bad report, tuned out the world by turning his face to the wall and then he cried out to God.  He expressed himself and reminded God that under His grace he had walked closely with Him and had lived a good life.  God heard his petition and extended his life.
When ‘terminal’ reports come to you bringing bad news (medical test results, layoffs, betrayals, foreclosures, sickness); openly  express yourself to God. Of course He never forgets but remind Him of your love for Him and your   desires.  Recall scriptures of His promises that support your decrees and stand in faith that God is generous in His mercy and righteousness.
Every day is a good day; it is up to us to make it a power-packed GREAT day! Dr. JoAnn
