Jump Start

2 Kings 13:21c-"But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!"
So anointed was the body of Elisha that even after he was dead and decayed there was resurrection power within his bones to revive the dead. We should aspire to live a life so on fire for the Lord that when we leave a place or the company of others our essence is able to still impact where we have travelled. Just like sweet perfume or fragrant cologne which leaves its lingering aroma; we should leave the sweetness of our testimony so that others are entreated to find out more about the God we serve. My charge to us for this weekend is to boldly walk in the anointing Jesus' blood has given to us. We were bought with a special price as God ransomed us from destruction. He cleaned us up, made us a new creature, gave us a new song to sing then appointed all of us with a special purpose and destiny. Our purpose is to glorify God and our individual destinies are the assignments we have been given to live for Christ. Find people to share the gospel with this weekend. A simple confession of faith or a brief testimony might be all it will take to leave the aroma of God behind. Just speak the truth and it will be powerful enough to raise the "dead" situations in their lives and give them hope.   Every day is a good day; it is up to us to make it a GREAT day! Have a powerful weekend! Be blessed! Dr. JoAnn
