Random Acts of Kindness

Matthew 25: 35-38 - "For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.”
As we look for the best of God in any situation, I am encouraged to see people perform random acts of kindness to assist others. Without much introduction we must become people who step up to the plate and help where we see a need. We must check on the elderly to make sure they have provisions; we can run errands; do shopping; pick up prescriptions and make necessary arrangements to help those without transportation or funds.     As we enter into this Lent season let’s keep this spirit-filled fire going. Seek out ways and people to bless with Random-Acts-of-Kindness. It does not have to be anything monumental or extravagant. You would be surprised how simple things can make the day special for someone. Pray and seek the Holy Spirit’s intervention. He will not only show you whom to bless but provide the avenue to accomplish the deed.      Every day is a good day it is up to us to make it a GREAT loved-filled day. Be blessed! Rev. Dr. JoAnn
