Proverbs 1:1 (KJV). “Blessed is the man that walketh not in
the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in
the seat of the scornful.”
An old adage says that ‘birds of a feather flock together’. When
we are in close association with people our behaviors are often linked
together. If you happen to have a strong personality many may find a desire to
associate themselves with you even if you do not particularly agree with many
of their actions, attitudes or behaviors. You must take a discerning look at
the traits that others portray especially when under pressure. It is easy to
hide behind a mask when things are going well; but we often find true traits
come to the surface when under stress. We all know in any grouping of people if
we are discerning enough we can isolate the comedian, the snitch, the yes-man
and the betrayer.
