Midpoint

Psalm 138:8 (ERV) – “Lord, I know you will do what you have promised. Lord, your faithful love will last forever. You are the one who made us, so don’t leave us.”
Wow we have reached the last weekend in June. We have made it to the midpoint of the year and how time has flown. If you are like me and many others, when the year began you had a laundry list of things you wanted to conquer, complete, eliminate or change. Recently I was evaluating my “to-do” list and it was refreshing and encouraging to see that I have made a few important ‘check marks’. Many of my prayers hinged on the promises of God and he is ever faithful to fulfill them in accordance to his will and purpose.
God made us in his image and placed within us a longing and desire for fellowship with him and a sense of purpose and drive. As we strive to conquer the next half of this year and see the manifestation of our desires it is reassuring to know that God will do as he has promised. He is keeping each and every one of our dreams and aspirations alive as we traverse through the upcoming hours, days, weeks and months. Stay focused on God’s promises for your situation and lean not on your own understanding; acknowledge God in all your ways and he will not only direct your steps but will illuminate your path.
Every day is a good day; it is up to us to make it a victoriously GREAT day! Have a great weekend. See you on Monday. Be blessed! Dr. JoAnn
