Suffering Re-Purposed

Hebrews 5:8 – “Yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.”
Rev. Dr. James Dobson stated in his book, Emotions: Can You Trust Them?, that growth in the Christian life depends on obedience in times of crises. Most of us can confirm the saying that what does not kill us only makes us stronger. That is to say…if we endure through the ups and downs of life we are wisest when we don’t worry so much about the path but observe and glean from the settings and the situations.
While we are in awkward or uncomfortable places or amongst disagreeable people do not focus on the ‘why’ but see ‘what’ God is unfolding. He will reveal hidden truths to us in times of conflict that will help us win the victories. He will open avenues of escape in times of suppression that will lead us to fertile grounds where he restores our souls. Yea thou we walk through the valley of the crazy people, unorthodox methodologies and just plain weird stuff, we will fear no evil for God is everywhere, at all times, and he knows all. We can learn so much just through our obedience. Hang in there!
Every day is a good day; it is up to us to make it a GREAT day! Enjoy the weekend. See you on Monday! Be blessed! Rev. Dr. JoAnn
